I did not forget that The Page Walker turned three this month. I intentionally did not rush off to write a post, because I’ve been thinking of the changes I need to make and how best to do them.
On top of the list, I am currently limiting the requests to Book Spotlights, Author Interviews, Cover Reveals, and Guest Postings. I highly suggest that you read the Policy first before sending me an email.
It doesn’t mean that I will not be reviewing any ARC or Independent-authored books anymore. If you have a NetGalley account, you may send your invitations through the site.
Secondly, I want to focus more on Say it With A Book. It’s a blog feature I’ve neglected so badly last year. I want to feature more of my non-blogger friends, more book enthusiasts, and encourage more people to share their thoughts on books they read. I already have some people lined up and I am very grateful for their support.
Third, I received emails asking me to write about some very significant questions and ideas. They asked, “why read translated works”, “why follow a book series”, “what books would I have on a book auction or literary collection”, and “why aren’t you writing in Spanish or Deutsch”. Obviously, the last one came from one of my nieces, hahaha. I already have some drafts on the subjects except for the last request, because my Spanish needs some brushing, while my Deutsch needs a complete washing. I should probably just click the auto-translate feature on Blogger, yes? And of course, there are some insignificant requests too, but it’s best to skip them.
Fourth, Blogger recently removed all non-Google accounts. They have also removed the ability for people with Twitter, Yahoo, Orkut or other OpenId providers to sign in to Google Friend Connect and follow blogs. Here’s the post. So if you are among them, you need to sign up for a Google account to re-follow this blog.
Fifth, a new layout. I already have a template ready, but it will require a huge amount of time and attention. So, we’ll change it when we can do it best.
Meanwhile, let me thank you for visiting and for taking the trouble to email me. I appreciate all your support.
Happy 3rd, Page Walker! Cheers!
